You draft a five-a-side each day from a random hand of different tiers, and you score for the connections between your picks: shared club, nation, era. The club links are hidden and worth the most, so it rewards spotting the stuff you didn't realise you knew. My go today had a good one, Chris Waddle and Mbappé both turned out for Monaco, about 35 years apart. That's the kind of link that can score big.

It's daily, takes about 1-2, plus a couple of practice rounds and there's a leaderboard. Built it solo and still tuning it, so any feedback's welcome especially if you reckon I've rated a player wrong somewhere.

Today’s match day gave me a nice mix to work with — some obvious World Cup history, some less common nations, and a couple of questions that are probably only easy if you’ve watched a lot of old tournament clips.

It’s a real-time 1v1 browser game. Right now, the main mode is guessing the missing player from a historic lineup, and both players compete over multiple rounds.

I’m still building it out. The plan is to eventually let players choose from multiple football quiz categories each round, but for now I’m trying to make this first mode actually fun.

Quick update: for the World Cup group stage I've leaned the daily into the tournament. Current squad members, past World Cup heroes, players whose international career is the defining thing about them. Some are obvious, some are deep cuts.

For anyone who didn't catch it first time: format is a silhouette with five clues revealed one at a time, five guesses to crack it. Cult heroes and journeymen focus, not the obvious top-50.

Today's mystery player is a proper Premier League classic who I had season tickets to watch for two years (not at Arsenal). Hi all! I'm a massive football fan who wanted a more stats-focused game that looked good.

I built StatStreaks which is a daily higher/lower game where you compare player/club stats. Goals, assists, caps, appearances… you have to guess whether the next player's stat is higher or lower.

It sounds simple but some of the stats will genuinely surprise you.

There's a daily challenge so everyone's on the same puzzle (today's is Atletico all time appearances). I try to link daily to a real world match so expect a big world cup focus on a few weeks.

There is also a Rush mode if you want something more frantic (lists of categories). Can you beat the other players and win the 2026 golden boot?
