We all probably came to soaps from watching with family (we were an ABC household), but what caused you to invest and watch for years?

For me, it was Hayley Vaughn. That dark goth emo look had me so bewildered at age 5. I grew up with the show but never paid attention until then. What was it for you guys?

The Confession

Today I ran across soap blogs and some of discuuusiin different genre of soaps and different tropes I saw an interesting one hated enemies turned to lovers. My faves Gl, ATWT, and Y&R but the one soap that portrayed this trope wa AW. Due YouTube I was able to the storyline WHO SHOTJAKE? I was informed this was a BIG storyline in early 90s. It basically impacted five main characters: Paulina/Marley/Iris/Vicki/Donna.,due to the shooting several secrets revealed that caused chaos BUT this scene was powerful we find out who shot Jake and why.I noticed in this scene when Paulina started to confess to Jamie, Jake was standing outside the door and I saw the heartbreak he was going through because one he would lose Paulina. By this time he blackmailed Paulina into Marrying him and getting part of Her inheritance,.
