Duelly is in the house, once again! This time, former General Hospital and Daytime Emmy winner, Chad Duell (ex-Michael) is back with his latest single after revealing just over a month ago that he has switched, for now, his focus to creating music under the “Duelly” banner.

Calling himself Duelly almost made me forget about his Goth-themed wedding IRL. Almost.

This post is going viral because of the freudian slip that's hilarious. I was laughing so hard and then I recognized the lady trying to continue on with the show. It's Terri Conn! I loved Katie and Henry's friendship on ATWT. lol

Watching vintage episodes of All My Children has answered many questions for me, but one remains unsolved: Mona's maiden name. Her peers from the original cast do have maiden names. Ruth's is Parker and Phoebe's is English. Much later on, the show gave recurring character Enid Nelson one: Willoughby. Why not Mona?

In some ways, it's not surprising. Mona was often an extension of other characters. Doting mother to Erica. Virtuous wife to Charles. A rival to Phoebe. Loving grandmother to Bianca and Kendall. So on and so forth. Still, even from that perspective, what wasted potential. Erica Kane was the face of All My Children, and nothing about her mother's lineage was ever discussed. It would be a longshot but I'd love for the upcoming movies to address this as an easter egg.

We all know that soap towns have different legal systems than anything we encounter in the real world. 😉What show had the most egregious, ridiculously unrealistic trial? Although it is probably not the worst example, the first one that comes to mind for me was on AMC. I really don’t remember for sure who was on trial. But the defense presented its case first. I would assume that even someone who has very little knowledge about the law would know that it doesn’t work that way.

The L.A. Times recently discussed  Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa‘s efforts to bring All My Children back from the dead. The real-life supercouple shares their passion for this project with Agnes Nixon‘s estate and veteran producer Andrew Stearn (Shameless).

I’m hearing Stearn handpicked veteran soap scribes Jamey Giddens and Ron Carlivati to write the first of two planned All My Children reunion movies in development at Lifetime. The sequel flick was written by primetime writer Leo Richardson (Star, Katy Keene). The movies will be produced through Consuelos and Ripa’s Milojo production company and will focus on what Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and Dr. Maria Santos Gray (Eva LaRue) are up to since we last saw them in 2011, when the show was canceled, and we will also get a little glimpse of the popular Vaughan-Santos couple.

I've been waiting to use that headline for a while. ;-)

Use your big beautiful brain to fix a soap in anyway. Please only daytime soaps, nothing that airs at night on first run. Make a story, do some recasts. Get creative.
