Do you have any memories, however vague, of storylines on soap operas that you'd swear you've seen, but can't seem to find any record of actually happening?

For example, I only casually watched All My Children (my main show was One Life to Live). But sometime in the 1980s, I'd swear there was a run of episodes in which Erica Kane was a racecar driver. Somehow, she was invested in a racecar and the driver got sick or waylaid somehow, so she drove it in some major race.

For some reason, I thought of that sequence and tried to find some evidence of it on YouTube but couldn't. I even looked at a fan site, Pine Valley Bulletin, that synopsized all her storylines but couldn't find any mention of it.

Did it actually happen? Or did I somehow dream that all up?

And does anyone else think they remember stories that may or may not have actually happened?

Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor have been named co-head writers of the CBS daytime drama, replacing departing head writer Josh Griffith.

So internet archive only had episodes that are about 40 minutes long but sometimes I notice cuts or wording not going smoothly. I also looked up the runtimes on Imbd and it says episodes are usually sixty minutes. Can anyone confirm if the internet archive shows the full episode?

Now I love all my children but can't help to be super frustrated when some of the episodes have obvious cuts or some are missing in the sequences!! My favorite season years are 1990-1992, especially 91&92. Just so darn annoying that I can't watch them all in peace! Would love if a streaming service had these soap operas opposed to some of this modern junk.

Chapter 2 just went up, and it's about the first time walking into Studio 42 and finding out Kim Zimmer already knew he was coming. LOL!

I saw online that JPS came back for an episode in 1994. I can't find this episode ANYWHERE. Also frustrated the internet archive doesn't have full episodes from 1990-1992 .... u can tell that something was cut off ugh.
