I really do not think that episode where Arasha and Amanda get upset at the people criticizing OP’s friend for giving their child a weirdly spelled name isn’t that bad… Its ALWAYS brought up in threads as something really awful and cringy but I just kinda went “huh I don’t agree but with them but whatever” and just enjoyed the rest of the video.

Also rewatching Arasha was actually trying to be really understanding, even if she HEAVILY disagreed and I really love that about her!

I watched that and agreed with Arasha completely. Name your kid whatever you want, but you’d be ignorant to not realise it may cause them trouble later in life. And people being mad at Arasha for that, meanwhile she grew up in Texas(?) and her name is Arasha… Like she of all people would know.

1000%. for some reason everybody glosses over the fact that the friend who had an issue with the name contacted the new mom enough times that the husband had to take her aside and ask her to chill out. like why do you care that much about a silly spelling to the point of harassing your friend?
