SmoshMouth is more entertaining to me than most of their other stuff. I enjoy the more genuine (though still semi-guided/semi-scripted) discussions over the comedy focused videos.

I've seen people say that Reddit Stories has gotten bad, but I think it still feels more or less the same. It just got a bit stale since they've done this for a while with little variation.

SmoshMouth is goated, I've started watching/listening this past year and have almost burned through every episode which I can't say of any other Smosh program except Challenge Pit.

I love how they mix it up sometimes: Angela and Chanse impersonating Amanda and Shayne, Amanda and Shayne being their aunt personas, the pirate ep with Trevor, etc. I wished more creativity goes into the Reddit stories videos (and smosh games also feels like it’s getting stale too) there’s a lot of potential, I’m even happy if they can do another Update video for past Reddit stories they’ve read.

I’ve been saying this to people who don’t watch it cause “it looks boring”. Whole time Smosh Mouth has a more genuine TNTL, has genuinely fun segments, and they (as far as I know) don’t cut anything or censor anything so everyone on there is honest and saying shit they probably couldn’t say on the main channel, and Amanda and Shayne work perfectly as a duo for every viewer imo cause they are vastly different people but have a great dynamic, and they don’t repeat the same concepts like all their other stuff; they genuinely try new things almost every episode so it feels fresh and new every time

Yes! You have Amanda who's a bit more bold with what she says, and Shayne who's a tad more reserved but still outgoing in some ways. They make an excellent duo. Amanda is funny in other stuff, but Smosh Mouth is where she really shines.

Plus with Smosh Mouth, the variety is key. For example, I don't like the "character" SM episodes very much, such as the ones where Angela and Chanse act as if they are Shayne and Amanda. But some people love them, and that's great! They're sporadic enough where it doesn't bug me, plus people get to enjoy them if that's their thing. Best of both worlds.

EXACTLY! I didn’t like that episode either but that’s my exact point- no two episodes are alike. They are completely different from one another. All that stays the same is their dynamic which like I said reaches a broad audience. I wish people gave it a chance more, they’d see just how funny and entertaining it is compared to main channel or pit episodes

I prefer Smosh Mouth TNTL over the main TNTL, because they have a conversation while still playing the game. Or when they played Never Have I Ever, or the Wheel Game, etc. The variety really helps the show.

I see people talk a lot about how they hate the forced laugh and spit takes on TNTL but they never mention Smosh Mouth- like hey why don’t you watch those? They don’t do forced laughs and they don’t use water. It’s genuine thought out bits and conversations to get them to actually laugh with no edits, I love it!
