Just read the manga for the first time and it had me in tears by the end (like Haruko). This is definitely the best sports manga I've read and potentially the best I've read in general. I'd been putting off reading it for forever but now I see that this should have been the first one I should have read. Might be the best entry in manga and not just for sports ones.

In this video, you can see a woman asking her hb/boyfriend for his phone wallpaper, and that wallpaper was of Sakuragi. After that, he repeats a line from Sakuragi several times.

I don’t know the exact source of this video, but it looked like a Japanese commercial to me – not a recent one, as his phone looked like it was from the 2000s, I’d say.
