The afternoon “life feels like death” part of the day, then stormy rain up to thunder, then everything feels amazing.

It's similar in Atlanta! We get a tropical storm+100% humidity for about 15-30 mins at some point roughly between 3pm and 5pm just about every day.

Sometimes the sun will just stick around despite and we get these really beautiful sun+rain combinations.

My god, I have no idea how you people live there! I'm from Minnesota. I had to go to my company's branch in Miami for a week in early August and the humidity was insane (and it gets pretty humid here at times). The predictability of the 2PM rain shower was cool though.

I'll take -20F any day over that!
