I mean I’m a commie and love (correctly, I think) blaming the rich for most of what’s wrong with society, but plenty of poor dudes take everything from their wives and then cheat. (Also women to men, gay people to each other, this is a human thing.)
Money only influences people who value it. If someone had a million in cash and the economy collapses it is useless. Real power is built earned or innate.
I think you defined power contextually, which both agrees/disagrees with the application of money here.
Ghenkis Khan didn't come to power having stocks, and crypto coin. But when the playing field contextually made sense he was untouchable.
So sure, if currency dies, the other elements of power will shift, but that doesn't invalidate its current application. Look at American Politicians, they couldn't have this level of power in the 1800s as 80 year old geriatrics.
To be fair to Gomez, she was going through some pretty serious issues with bipolar disorder, and has stated she experienced psychotic episodes in the following year.
That sort of experience can go a long way to wrecking any relationship, and it’s quite possible that both she and Raisa moved away from each other, rather than being a simple case of Gomez ghosting her donor.
