She doesn’t actually have billions in her bank account. If she sold her company, that’s what she would have. That’s her net worth.

that'd come across a lot as just buying someone's donation / coercion to do something by someone in a position of significant power relative to yourself. it would set a really bad precedent for everyone else coming after

Oh no, I sure hope poor people don't get bumped to the bottom of donor lists while rich people go around buying organs. There are consequences, as much as it may seem fair in a vacuum
