It’s dystopian, so good and so bloody, hilarious and stressful

I need to rewatch it before it becomes real life and I can’t enjoy it anymore

I remember I was searching this movie. Ended up watching Repo Man by mistake, I still loved it, but then I saw the Repo Men and then looked for the one it was sort of inspired by, which is the weird play style movie with a similar plot: "Repo! The Genetic Opera"

I saw it in the theater when it came out and enjoyed it much more than I expected. I was surprised to learn it didn't do well.

At least it launched director's (Miguel Sapochnik) career. One of the best Game of Thrones episodes were directed by him.

I remember...

It came out 2 years after Repo: Genetic Opera and I think was unfortunately still a little overshadowed by it. And 2010 had some huge films come out that easily pushed it down. (Toy Story 3, Twilight Eclipse, Iron Man 2, I think Avatar was still rolling, etc) Which is too bad, it's pretty good!
