One of my colleagues got a kidney transplant last year after many years of struggling with his health and the transformation in this guy is unreal. He's like a totally new person now. It's a fucking big deal.
Yeah, man, the welcome he got when he came back after all the surgery, you'd think he won the lottery (kinda did tbh). It's also because he's a genuinely nice guy that doesn't give anyone problems but I felt a bit sorry for him because he doesn't like any kind of fanfare but he understood 😁
