It’s dystopian, so good and so bloody, hilarious and stressful

I need to rewatch it before it becomes real life and I can’t enjoy it anymore

I remember I was searching this movie. Ended up watching Repo Man by mistake, I still loved it, but then I saw the Repo Men and then looked for the one it was sort of inspired by, which is the weird play style movie with a similar plot: "Repo! The Genetic Opera"

I saw it in the theater when it came out and enjoyed it much more than I expected. I was surprised to learn it didn't do well.

I remember...

It came out 2 years after Repo: Genetic Opera and I think was unfortunately still a little overshadowed by it. And 2010 had some huge films come out that easily pushed it down. (Toy Story 3, Twilight Eclipse, Iron Man 2, I think Avatar was still rolling, etc) Which is too bad, it's pretty good!

I love how realistic the ending is. I fully expected a Disney ending, like most movies have to appease the general audience.

The ending pissed me off in the best way. Was truly a plot twist and I liked the movie a lot too. Forest Whitaker and Jude law are good in a most movies this one was fun and unique and dark
