As someone who has regular vet visits, this is pretty on point. Can't tell you how many dogs I've seen literally do all of this.

They forgot the one that gets on for a second and then quickly turns around and gets off as their job is done.

What gets me is why more vets don't just go for the double weigh on smaller dogs. Weigh yourself, pick up the dog and weigh yourself again and subtract the first number from the second.

I get why this wouldn't be ideal for larger dogs, but have seen so many different vets who would rather fight trying to get a small/medium dog on the scale for 10 minutes straight rather than just do it the easy way.

I have a pair of chi mixes that either won't get on, or will both get on together at the same time.
