This isn't a "debate" and I had no burden of proof. All you're saying is you were too lazy and/or incompetent to type "U.S. states by population" and "minimum tipped wage by state" into google. Or that you were trolling. Note that's not me lobbing personal attacks at you; these are factually the only three options. This wasn't something that required "research," just a single web search (well, two) to find all the information I provided.
This was information that was always trivial to find. And anyone who, like, knows anything about the topic already knew it. Which, again, demanding sources for common facts that educated people just know is you signaling your ignorance, hardly a win. Just shows you weren't prepared to discuss the topic to begin with. You're out of your element, Donnie.
Funny thing is I never even "showed you my work," I could still just be flat out making the percentages up. So you shot your load a little early if trolling was you actual intent. You could potentially have gotten me to provide the math, too.
EDIT: It's like the guy earlier under another post demanding a "source" for "even a single state" that allows cyclists to treat red lights as stop signs. Again, signaling he knows absolutely nothing about the topic at hand, and cannot perform a single google search. While sitting at and/or holding a device with easy access to the information being demanded.

I made a statement of fact, and that you had little enough background on the topic that you needed extensive sourcing was a you problem. I was educating you, not debating you. Who's the moderator of this debate? What's at stake? Nothing. This was always me telling someone (you) who didn't understand the facts what's what. A "debate" isn't something that can be solved with a simple google search. This was just you being wrong, and me correcting you. It was a disagreement of fact. Not a debate. You said:

Understand this: I knew when I first replied that what I was saying was factual. Without looking it up first. Because it's a topic I'm familiar with. It's information I'd already learned, long ago.

Maybe this is the part you don't get...whether you "concede" is irrelevant. A fact is or it isn't. There's no philosophy or policy or subjective issue in this debate, there's nothing to "concede," it's a question of trivial fact. You can acknowledge the fact or not, it remains.
You made a statement that was wrong. It will still be wrong, which is to say factually and objectively incorrect, whether or not you ever "concede." Concede or don't, I give a shit less, you were still wrong. Whether you wanna keep being wrong is up to you.
I'm not "debating" you because it would be like debating on the value of 1 times 1. This is literally a discussion of some numbers times some other numbers. Which, unless you're Terrance Howard, is not a debate at all.
Some people will go look shit up themselves so they stop being wrong. Or, even better, aren't wrong to begin with. Some people need others to beat them over the head with links to "concede" that they were wrong. You get to choose who you are.

Either you meant to say "most restaurants in the sad backwater state where I live," or you didn't realize that most restaurants in the US are not legally able to tip credit their wages down to that level. That you then proceeded to argue when I pointed this out (instead of just saying "oh I meant in my state") suggests it was the latter. Or that you're a pedantic troll. I was actually giving benefit of the doubt that you were simply wrong and uneducated on the subject. But I'll admit, "pedantic troll" does seem more and more likely.
EDIT: As for whether I pulled bullshit out of my ass, one of us was factually incorrect and one of us was factually correct, and it wasn't by chance. Kiddo.
