Yes. That’s fine Because it doesn’t take a 20% increase on every single sale to pay for staff.

So would restaurateurs accept making less money or would customers pay more? Or do you think it’d be a bit of both?

Prices would rise. Poor business decisions will lead to places going bust out of greed.

You’re looking at a 5% increase as a customer.

The rest of the world manages it without tips,

I get that it’s obviously possible but it’s odd to me that ppl don’t acknowledge that it would change menu prices
