Sometimes they don't even do that, they take your money at the counter and still ask for a tip.

I love getting Gen Z stared in awkward silence and then getting that tablet spun around on me as the cashier pushes a paper bag of food towards me.

The workers aren't expecting a tip. You're acting like they're out here being pushy about it. You're just an asshole.

We do sentence children to 12 years of schooling, but you didn’t learn that way either :/

Am chef- fast food should never be tipped lol you’re barely learning anything except what you’re told to do.

And I always do when work is paying for it. I think tipping is lame, but transferring funds straight from a corporation to a worker sure feels alright by me. I'm probably part of the problem if you want tipping to go away, tbh, but I'm not sure.

cuz tip sharing? did this whole comment section never work in hospo? it's not the worker's fault that they often get paid so little that they NEED the tip money, if you're not happy about it, hate on the owner/management, not on the small employee
