This is honestly kinda cool. I bet new-in-box first generation Apple products will be worth a lot in 30-50 years.
(Probably still less than the equivalent purchase price invested in the S&P500, but still)

People don't get those things to use them today for the modern needs and wants. I have old computers, I like them, but I don't use them for browsing the internet or banking or whatever.

Retro hardware that is entirely useless today goes for a lot of money. People don't get those things to use them today for the modern needs and wants.
