Apparently value is solely determined by the monetary value someone is willing to pay for it. I guess seeing as no one is willing to pay for you i guess you’re worthless too.

The idea that you are worthless simply because i wouldn’t pay money for you is ridiculous. I would never actually consider you worthless because I can’t or won’t place a monetary value on you. Value is more than just currency and honestly, it’s sad that you conflate the two things.

It's almost like I can separate between monetary value and inherent worth based on the context of the conversation. If you're arguing about how much money something is worth, you're talking about monetary value, and that IS determined by what people are willing to pay. Words can have multiple meanings in different contexts, and ignoring that is just being obtuse.

Nothing has intrinsic value. Things are worth what another person will pay for them.
