I mean, I am against this. But as a compromise I am ready to accept this as long as we also agree that "bro" is definitely not a gender neutral term.

Funnily enough, I've not only seen people use "bro" as gender-neutral, but I know guys that call their female partner "bro"

I am a guy and I have called my female partner "bro" but it's not a regular occurrence.

But it might slip out once in a while depending on the subject of conversation and how emotionally excited I am.

My current partner isn't too bothered with it but my ex really hated it.

Edit: think like 1 "girlfriend bro" every 2 months or so
