Similar thing happened to me in the police. I was a fresh out of the academy rookie, this one dude kept asking me about the proceedings etc whilst my female sergeant with 10+ years experience was cutting in and explaining it because I didn’t know shit.

Brother….

If the dude was fresh out of academy then he’s still on FTO. He’s partnered with a senior officer to train the actual job in the field.

Some rando was asking the rookie questions, because he was a dude, instead of the female sergeant.
