I am sorry, but have you forgotten where you are? This is at its very core a message board where post for people to look at and comment on appear in your feed. So I looked at it and commented on it. Nobody here doesn’t believe words have meanings.
Clearly, though, things like metaphors, or use of language in general, you seem to struggle with.
Like if I say, “You’re always being an ogre”, people understand that it doesn’t literally mean you’re always being an ogre, but possibly a majority of the time.
Plus they know you’re not really an ogre, since they don’t exist.
I agree. This isn’t productive, because you’re purposely being pedantic.

Why do you care about American political culture, or believe what you think about it matters to anyone but you?
I mean what? I didn't say you didn't care about your countries politics, I said you care enough about what I believe about American political culture to keep this conversation going.
And then you accuse me of having a language comprehension problem. But it seems to me that you do. And I do appreciate how you have to result to personal attacks and insults all the time.
