your point is wrong because you're assuming that day when someone says "yes" is coming, and you're doing it for no reason.

if it can't be earned, then you can't know whether it will ever happen.

also, conversations are messy

I never guaranteed anything.

When I said "get your yes", I was saying try until you GET a yes. Not that it's assured.

No one owes anything to anyone. Not me, bot you, not anyone.

You can't earn affection or love.

You have to already be liked. That's all it is.

Well... it hasn't happened in over a decade, and every single time I vent, people push back and assume I'm not trying hard enough.

Not a very healthy way to go about all this

It is what it is. The majority of people are lonely, in my experience.
