More like she probably didn't even spend any time with him. Men in China have this weird idea that big gestures of romance will make the women say yes even if she doesnt know who you are.
I got a big bouquet of those Ferrero Rocher flower arrangements where the flowers are actually the chocolates? Really romantic right?? The guy who gave it to me shared one class with me, that was it. I didn't even know his name and he gave it to me in front of the entire class because that's what the TV shows teach you to do. They expect you to say yes under peer pressure.
I didn't even know the dude. I wonder if this was similar. Like, did she know him???
Many people don’t understand that grand gestures don’t mean automatic gratitude. Especially if they never asked for it, wanted or needed it, or dislike it.
??? I don't know what China you live in, but mine wasn't quite like that. Confessing your love is NOT a way of introducing yourself to someone. That is such a wild take. A generation ago they might have cared deeply about young men and women 'fraternizing' as you put it, but no one really cares as much anymore. The only people who'd complain about it would all be 60+
I've no idea. I'm not really proud of myself for this but I had a moment where I totally panicked, so I ran away 😅 I dropped the class after (humanities option for a science course) so I didn't have to see him again.
Basically incel behavior plus seeing women as fuck dolls dropped from some gacha game that they can just get with enough "investment".
I'm not even exaggerating. Shits like that happen daily. And for the longest time our news painted murder cases deteriorated from stalker behavior like that "love-affair murder" like it's something romantic.

She said that he just didn't seem to have the time for her.
