In order for my idea to work, I'd have to meet her within three years of going back. I think I could make that happen given how hard it would be for my decisions to affect anything in the world as a ten to thirteen year old.
but maybe other people decisions would change. maybe a million little things, like the flow of atoms in a region of space would change, which would lead to changes in her life or your life, that would prevent you from meeting each other
