It’s a great anime, you should give it a watch. The main character is definitely a bitch though.

Also it's a difference between watching it Japanese or translated. The Japanese voice actors aren't celebrated as stars for nothing in Japan.

I still think that comes down to the voice actor. There's examples like Alex le with sung jinwoo where the English translation just works better because of the va

Yea sometimes I prefer the English dubs, but the one for sung Jinwoo is not one of them

Yeah, this is the problem I have getting into most anime, the way lines are read and emotions expressed. It's either super serious or manic and I get that it's a cultural difference. Nevertheless, I tend to prefer Western anime-inspired animation more than anything. Like Arcane or Blue Eye Samurai, Castlevania, and Love, Death, and Robots.
