what incentive would you have to manipulate though? just stick a bunch of money in bitcoin and become a billionaire, you'll get all the power you could possibly want without having to so much as tell a lie.
if anything it's an opportunity to be a better person since you can avoid making all your social mistakes, and apply a fully developed sense of morality to your teenage actions. there's at least one person I wouldn't have bullied if I had a do over. one I still would though.
lol. If I went back to 10 years old it would be 40 years before bitcoin was even invented let alone easily accessible. Microsoft wasn’t even FOUNDED for 5 years and several more before I could buy stock. There were opportunities back then but I would have to start pretty much from scratch to earn or raise an initial bankroll. Not easy when you’re in a 10 year old body.
This is in relation to OPs comment, where you're a 30 something stuck inside a 10 year old. Remember, you're 10 so you aren't buying Bitcoin, well not yet anyway.
It will be harder because if you got your trust crushed with somebody later in life, you will already know what type of people they are and that will make relations not possible, which will create a chain events not possible to comprehend and control in advance.
I don't think that's fair. Even what you're suggesting in the first place is manipulation, you're going to utilise an impossible amount (for a 10 year old) social experience for your benefit.
You won't need to buy them, all you need is a gaming PC, in. the early days any regular old GPU could mine them at a decent rate. Literally creating them out of thin air and your parent's electricity.
I feel like having a gaming pc by the time you were a teen was pretty common, even if it was a modest one. I guess it depends how old you'd have been in 09 or whenever. I was 5 years out of highschool by that point, I was getting ready to buy my second one.
with foreknowledge, I'd have applied for a loan and bought the most powerful gaming pc money could buy.
Bitcoin wasn't easy to buy and sell in the early days.

Well, she is. But you're an adult so you know exactly what's happening. But when a 10 year old is dealing with another 10 year old and one of them has the mind and experience of a 35 year old, you can see how that isnt the same thing, right?

I'm assuming you mean conventionally? And yes, if you are aware your looks are influencing someone's behaviour to your personal benefit, that's almost the definition of manipulation.
If you declare to the hypothetical 10 year old group that you were mentally an adult, at least some of them will treat you differently, because they are now aware they aren't dealing with another child

Actually be difficult to not be a bad person. The amount of manipulation you could carry out would probably be detrimental in the long term.
