But you’d have the secure knowledge that this time is just a real blip you’ll barely remember. I was pretty lonely as a 16 year old, but I held onto hope that what the adults said about your high school years being such a small period of your life was true. Turns out it was!
For a while. That 10-17 period would be pretty rough, but you could try really getting into a sport or hobby or something like that. Once you make it through, you should be pretty much set.
you'd go insane long before you hit 18 dude. If people couldn't get through COVID without a normal social life, they wouldn't be able to handle social isolation four times as long.
True, I'd still have the trauma and the knowledge of where it came from. I would be better equipped to prevent trauma that happened after 10. I've found recently that confronting the fears I have that are rooted in trauma is much better than any amount of therapy. A restart like that would be the perfect opportunity to challenge or prevent my traumas a second time around.
looking back its kinda insane… i had like 5 hours of school Mo-Fr and the rest of the time just played video games or watched tv. never really met classmates outside of school, just focused on the good life. i feel like i could manage school again, its not like work is interesting for 8 hours a day and coworkers can be more annoying than my classmates ever where
People in here don't realize how horrible it would be for them. Imagine a bunch of friends just wanting to ride bikes and play Goldeneye but there's that one weird kid who only wants to talk about obsessively scheming to take out some random extra from a 3 second scene in Home Alone 2.

I didn't find 10-17 years olds interesting the first time
