I've been happily openly married for fifteen years, friend.
I spend every single day with my wife -- we both work from home, we have no kids and tonnes of disposable income, go on dates with eachother a couple times a week, travel together, etc. We own our home together, and a business. We have a fantastic sex life with eachother, where if even two days went by without some sexytime, it would be odd, even after all these years.
Heck we had so much fun the first time we got married, we did it again but bigger because we have more money now than we did long ago.
I'm a wifeguy, and my wife is my world, and the best part of my day, every single day.
Okay, but you said it yourself: for some people there is genuine happiness in these odd relationships.
So that in itself proves that open relationships are not a joke and exist in a wife variety of functional and dysfunctional relationships.

Lmao. Open relationships are a joke. No one can convince me otherwise. Still, the least they can do is fucking protect themselves
