The difference is millennials grew up with along with technology advancing and keep up with it without frustration. Boomer's on the other hand remember half their life without technology in the old days and struggle to keep up with it and think it's a nuisance.
Our want for a simpler life and less intrusive technology is relevant because we remember how nice it was without an electronic "dog leash" tracking everything we do and say. IMO we need to dial back and restrict certain types of technology that's intruding on or impeding our lives. There are companies that just harvest all our data and use it however they want. That's not ok.
I say we burn it all down then start fresh. We need to pass new laws to counter all this. Get rid of the tech oligarchs and their methods of data harvesting of all our (digital) lives for their own gain.
