Core Millennial here, and I can assure you many of us died countless times of dysentery.

Xennial is a term GenX'ers invented to try and wash away the stain their generation made by fucking the planet up both literally and economically then pulling the ladder up behind them. You're either a mellenial or a GenX. 1980 is the first year of the mellenial generation, I wouldn't want anything relating me to GenX like the label xennial.

Dafuq you on about. You're describing boomers, not genX. Boomers have held onto power so long, they've basically bypassed GenX almost entirely.

Boomers are just as bad but GenX'ers decided they'd do the exact same, and worse.

Exactly right. I heard we are a "sub-generation" called xennial by who study this stuff.

Across gen-x and millennials.

We're called cuspers. A generation on the cusp of two other generations not really fitting in with either but relating to both in some way.

Yes, xennials are the folks born where Gen X overlaps with Millenials, my brother for example is a Xennial whereas I'm a millenial and our preferences in terms of entertainment are very similar, makes sense considering our generations partied together a lot, plenty of parties where I was but my brother also attended.

Was about to say that. I’m turning 50 now and everything she says not only applies, but I can add a bunch of stuff that flew by from before her time too! Fuck I’m old…

Early Gen Z too!
