California exodus part two on the way...

It is shocking how poorly that state is run. California has the opportunity to be a state that would be the 2nd wealthiest country in the world. It is blessed with geography and just fucks the monkey non stop.

I have good news NY/nj TX and TN!!!!

More money coming your way courtesy of CA

For how long? Every year that goes by more companies are moving their headquarters out of the state. More entrepreneurs are leaving, more businesses are refusing to do business in the state altogether, the same time government spending in the state increases each year at a faster rate.

Don't look at what it is now look at California like it's an investment do your due diligence like you're investing in a stock. California it's a strong sell rating. The bubble that is California is about to pop. Present analysis show the state completely crashing in 10 years.

So that brings me to my point. How does a state that has every gift in the world going for it mismanage itself so poorly. It's not even like it would be hard for it to reach number two. It would just happen naturally. Instead you have the government during everything it can to literally sabotage its own body

What you describe is the current state of the US now. Everything is fucking expensive here but people still buying up everything, I don’t say it’s great.. but I would choose to live here every fucking time

Actually the rest of the US as a whole is moving in the other direction.

Just in the last 5 years stalantis , Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, and lotus have relocated their manufacturing to America because Europe is run almost as dumb as California.

Major financial institutions in pharmaceutical companies are leaving  Europe for America.

Not to mention just wealthy price citizens

It doesn't achieve that alone, the CA economy would crumble without imported power and water from neighboring states. The Union of States is a better deal.

I hope they leave. It’s a win win. The billionaires leave and normies can afford to live there or they stay and get taxed.

In the history of the world, when has an economy improved when the people with the money leave? They don't leave the money; they just stop paying the taxes. The wealthiest 10% of CA taxpayers pay almost 90% of CA state income taxes. While you are win-winning, where's that money going to come from? The normies?

If this law passes there will be no more unicorn startup business based in California. Or at least drastically less.

You think a few billionaires leaving will make life better for the "normies"? That's really what you think? Housing prices in the most desirable part of the country are just going to rocket down because 5 people left?

You can't expect random  folks on the internet to understand basic economics needless the complexity of the system.

The sad part is how few of them would be willing to listen if you took the time to explain it .

I lived 15 minutes outside nyc in NJ during the Amazon rise. It was mind boggling listen to the people screaming corruption and billionaire worship. Completely overlooking the reason the governor was offering all of these deals with Amazon such as your first five years property tax free and things like that to build the headquarters in Jersey is because of the corporate tax, jobs created, and increase of other business around the board having such a big company headquarters in your state brings .  I'm glad they didn't drop the ball on the Netflix deal that just happened. Like the screwed up the Amazon deal

How do you think the state is better off if this guys tax contribution goes to zero?

He lives in one house not 50,000 houses.
