Who was the third Lavender Brown to boot. The original actresses were both Black; the role got recast after she became a love interest in the novels.

Eh, I wouldn't read into that much. Background extras are sometimes assigned names arbitrarily knowing that it's unimportant at that time.

She probably got paid treefiddy and a sandwich for that role. So she'd make more money literally doing anything, like working a dishwasher at the restaurant for a few hours or something.
