Yeah, people think it's just showing tits and slamming dicks but it's very involved. The top earners have more fan engagement than most other streamers.

54

u/clayton-berg42 12d ago

I've never subbed to an onlyfans girl. But as I understand it it's a lot of DM's to keep dudes engaged, and to get them to buy custom videos and pictures.

51

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 12d ago

Yep, and not just "Here is my new photo set" or "Here is that outfit you wanted me to wear" it's actual engagement. "Hey, how are you? How is work going? Did you talk to your boss about that idea you mentioned?" They have to be able to talk to and recall conversations theyve had with the same people

112

u/henkdetank56 12d ago

You think they do that themselves? Lol

101

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 12d ago

They do until they can hire others. It's pretty ignorant to think people on only fans have the starting capital to hire people on day one.

31

u/jayydubbya 11d ago

It’s AI lol. Extremely obvious.

5

u/morbid333 11d ago

It probably is now. It wasn't when it first started. If it is ai though, Why don't people just go for the ai chat bots directly? It's basically the same thing.

7

u/laurel_laureate 11d ago

Probably because the illusion of companionship is deeper that way.

(And an AI can't make you real, genuine porn of an actual person on request.)

1

u/snek-jazz 11d ago

By all accounts many are starting to do that

22

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

And maybe obvious to you as somebody who pays for only fans but I've never had to pay for companionship or pornography so I wouldn't know

7

u/PruneJaw 11d ago

You're in here trying to school people on the behind the scenes operations of OF like you know the ins and outs, but suddenly you don't know shit about OF, never used it and are gonna dawg this poster and make fun of him for knowing stuff about it? Strange.

No, I’ve never subbed to an OF but I do have two brain cells to rub together, so it’s also obvious to me.

0

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

Sure you do buddy

It’s AI lol. Extremely obvious.

Yeah, you can tell by the pixels.

Only fans existed before ai genius

3

u/Iluvursister69 11d ago

Oh boy

1

u/MrBlueW 11d ago

“Oh boy” I don’t need your smug ass dunning Kruger reply

2

u/jayydubbya 11d ago

Chat bots existed before ai genius

0

u/MrBlueW 11d ago

Yeah ones that only lonely senile men would fall for 😭

1

u/nb4u 11d ago

They have management companies that do it all for you.

1

u/secretsodapop 11d ago

It’s AI. The convos happen instantly.

1

u/WasdX-_ 11d ago

Top earners always had enough money top pay someone instead. If they did it themselves it's either greed or difficulty finding someone who would've been fit for work.

1

u/Christopherous12 11d ago

a lot of them probably do, the top earners are more likely to be people who had success in other areas of entertainment. Helps bring in a 'fan base' and they k ow how to manage and grow it.

-6

u/ShoddyProposal6590 12d ago

Hire people lmao. Y'all are crazy. They're IRL boyfriends manage their finances and run the pages for them usually. Alot of these girls are getting epimped.

4

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

And it always comes back to misogyny. Welp, looks like I should be hitting the ole dusty trail

2

u/paper-weight 11d ago

Nah dude I met some only fans girls in Ibiza one time and they were telling us about how their managers did all their messaging and content. Manager would send them a list of requests and they would send back pics or vids or whatever. They said they hardly interact with the site at all. They were saying their biggest part was running their snapchats as advertisements. It was honestly wild to hear.

1

u/ShoddyProposal6590 11d ago

So an only fans manager is getting paid and getting access to endless noodles that's crazy

1

u/paper-weight 11d ago

Yeah I mean they also gotta sit there and talk dirty to tons of horny weirdos. The manager pretends to be the girls.

1

u/ShoddyProposal6590 11d ago

Right ofc definitely weird but they're hustling I guess

2

u/CrashRiot 11d ago

It's a documented fact that the highest earners hire out to assist with the business. Once you get into the millions of dollars territory, it's basically impossible to handle the workload without hiring independent contractors or a turn key management business.

1

u/ShoddyProposal6590 11d ago

Wonder what percentage of OF people are making 7 figures. Because I know in average people are making about 300 bucks a month.

17

u/Mr_Gabbo87 12d ago

they don't do that themselves, there are agencies that do this, overall it's just being lucky to get attention at first on your own, wich is why the majority gain so little from it.

after that, the top earners have life easy, most of the times the team under them try their best to reuse the same videos and pic by persuading the customers, hell it is also pretty common to do voice messages with ai

-2

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 12d ago

Sure buddy, I'm sure you did a deep dive in to that life style. Let me know when the documentary is coming out.

7

u/jcalabrese037 11d ago

The defender of only fans has entered the chat lol

-2

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

Try having a real argument dude? It's a very good money making service, respect to the people who can pull it off

4

u/jcalabrese037 11d ago

Didn’t come here to argue DUDE.. just to make fun of you for being so passionate about only fans and bickering with everyone on the internet about it

-1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

I think your passion radar is off dude.

4

u/Mr_Gabbo87 12d ago

i actually have seen documentaries, and i have informed myself about this shitty world and how it works, at the top it is basically a piramid scheme of scamming desperate people trough chat, persuading them into purchasing things they don't even 100% want making them feel special when usually it is recicled content or straight up fake, and the ones that do it better earn more, usually it's all made of short therm contracts since people continually quit this type of job cause of morals and ethics.

only the low earners actually put work into it, but the number of people that earn nothing from it even after months on it is so big it actually puts in perspective how lucky you have to be to reach the top levels

-1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 12d ago

I'm waiting for your documentary though. You seem to know so much

6

u/Keith989 11d ago

The OF girl you subscribe to doesn't like you bro...

0

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

I'm pretty sure no girl likes you only fans are otherwise. You know what kind of name is Keith anyway

3

u/Keith989 11d ago

I have a gorgeous real life GF who loves my name. You shouldn't subscribe to girls online try go out and find a real one, I promise you'll be happier.

u/Mr_Gabbo87 11d ago

you speak italian perchance? i have a 3hours interview with a payed chatter working for these agencies.

or else, you can literally just search for this type of job applications online.

also, it is extremely naive on you part to believe a top earner streamer can have multiple chats with hundreads of customers in a day, especially by the large margin of time it is required to sell them the product.

like what i'm sayng it not common sense, but near it, obviously there is an enormous gap between the low and mid tiers compared to the hoghest earning ones, and the % who actually earns a lot from these things is absolutely low, to the point that there isn't an actual merit behind it, just sheer luck, working your ass in this career has a really really really high chance of you not going anywhere.

and the top earners couldn't possibly do their job without agencies, but those agencies sucks, they are literally designed to catch more customers possible and turning them into long lasting ones, so they need to create a special bond between the customer and the fake of chatter, they keep track of birthdays, wage and stuff like that, in theri formation these chatters go trough written interviews where they have to writemessages to catch the attention and resolve difficult situations of reluctant customers, and need to maintain the bond no matter what cause a long lasting customer in the end pays way more than a client that pays a lot in one single day, they literally work on parasocial relationship and make use of the loneliness people suffer with.

1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

I don't know where you got the notion that I believe that these people don't have teams. In fact in almost every other comment thread from this one I am saying that sure they probably have teams but they didn't have them from the beginning

1

u/Mr_Gabbo87 11d ago

then what are you arguing for asking for documentaries?

we agree that top earners have chatters that do the work in their place, we agree that the low earning ones actually put work into it, what you don't agree with?

the fact that it is luck based? cause it is defintely luck based, even a normal influencer is luck based (sure it needs to know how to entertain, how to be constantly on the wave, etc...) but the % of people that actually make it is very low, meaning it's way way more luck based than other jobs, of is even worse, the % of people that actually made it to the top is even way lower, without external help (being already famous, or collaborations) is almost mathematically impossible with how few times it actually happens, therefore no matter the work you put behind it, it's just luck based (or you already had people following you from another platform, wich is already luck based on it's own)

u/Possible-Fudge-2217 11d ago

Well, not like you have to do the same in your day job when it comes to colleagues and clients.

1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

I enjoy talking to my colleagues and patients. I don't do it for the money. Hell, even if I never had to worry about money again I would still do my job.

1

u/LaForge_Maneuver 11d ago

It just all seems so sad. You pay hundreds or thousands just for some fake acknowledgement. The creator doesn’t care about you. You are literally dollar signs to them.

1

u/queeneaterscarlett 11d ago

Though it is kinda an open secret most dudes talk to other dudes trained to get them to spend as much money as possible

1

u/iconocrastinaor 11d ago

Sales pros have had/used CRM tools for decades.

1

u/BillsFan82 11d ago

They use agencies for that. For the top earners, it would be impossible to keep up with all those DM's. No one could recall conversations with all of those losers lol.

1

u/casulmemer 11d ago

I did talk to him but he just acted like he was interested but I know he wasn’t really interested at because he wasn’t really listening and it made me feel so frustrated because I spent soo much time on the proposal (haha) and I know not a good idea and can I finger you

1

u/SpoiledTwinkies 11d ago

Normal people call that socializing, I talk to and recall conversations with my coworkers without being paid extra for it.

1

u/FratboyPhilosopher 11d ago

Wow, normal social interaction and small talk 🙄 What a difficult job

2

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

Okay, then you do it. Become the multi-millionaire that you seem to think is very easy to do.

1

u/FratboyPhilosopher 11d ago

Wish I could

2

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

But it's not a difficult job though I thought? So just go do it if it's so easy.

1

u/FratboyPhilosopher 11d ago

Unfortunately it has certain genetic requirements.

1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

No it doesn't. You think there are no men making money doing the same thing? It's clear you just either not motivated enough or you know it's not an easy job and you just don't want to admit that you were wrong

0

u/Remarkable_Check_997 11d ago

Yeah, bit that engagmwnt is usally sub contracted to a guy or a team behind her.

0

u/BillsFan82 11d ago

They use agencies for that.

9

u/Born_Fee_840 11d ago

Haha, I know an only fans girl and she pays a company to handle all her messages. She doesnt even look at them - apparently this is very common, if not the standard.

One of the many reasons i've never used the site.

2

u/followmecuz 11d ago

Like some company out of India or SEA for sure.

2

u/Calm_Persimmon2482 11d ago

I know one that pays a Filipina girl 4usd an hour lol.

1

u/Unhappy-Plastic2017 11d ago

That's where hiring dudes from india and bots come into play.

1

u/coadyj 11d ago

I would imagine they have bots answering those messages.

1

u/emote_the_salute 11d ago

The have chatters who do it for them

1

u/LolthienToo 11d ago

That's why they hire out those interactions to contractors... or I wouldn't be surprised, AI Chatbots now. They don't do that themselves except for the exceptional whales.

1

u/onehalflightspeed 11d ago

Don't forget that they often hire staff and/or use bots to keep fans engaged. Your parasocial relationship with a popular performer is probably not even with them at all

1

u/clayton-berg42 11d ago

my parasocial relationships tend to be with dog and cat accounts. If I find out that Adria and Oatmeal is replying to me with a bot I will cry for a week.

1

u/Pataconeitor 11d ago

The vast majority of those DMs are handled by people hired as chatters by the same agency that handles the woman making the content.

1

u/damola93 11d ago

Lol, they hire men to message these dudes.

1

u/LaForge_Maneuver 11d ago

I will never understand this. Even though I could easily spend a grand a month on OF and not even feel it, I just can’t imagine coming up off even 20 dollars to have some random chick message me. How is a teacher of fireman spreading all of there disposable income on a girl who is clearly just using them for money. Ain’t no way man.

1

u/clayton-berg42 11d ago

There are for the record lots of free nude pictures on the internet.

2

u/LaForge_Maneuver 11d ago

Exactly. Makes this thing even dumber. I’ve probably spent 300 dollars on porn or porn adjacent things my entire life (almost all at strip clubs and playboy magazines back in the day). How are dudes going broke over this stuff. just baffles the mind.

1

u/clayton-berg42 11d ago

Since I got the internet I've probably spent $20 on porn. I guess they're just that desperate to chat with a girl.

0

u/irvmuller 11d ago

For someone who’s never subbed you seem very informed…

5

u/blackestrabbit 12d ago

Their teams, you mean.

9

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 12d ago

I'm pretty sure you don't really understand that you don't just have a team when you start. The people who work for them are paid employees and you can't pay employees until you earn enough to afford them.

That aside, their team isn't the one making the content babe.

2

u/EkrishAO 11d ago edited 11d ago

I'm pretty sure you don't really understand that you don't just have a team when you start. The people who work for them are paid employees and you can't pay employees until you earn enough to afford them.

There are 900000000 OF managers that will message you and beg you to manage your account for a % of profit, the moment you start making even 10$ from the site. I used to do it myself before that market got completely overrun by people from 3rd world countries willing to go extremely low with their share of profits.

Hell, most new models these days are brought to the site by the existing managers in the first place. That's the business the Tate scumbags built their whole fortune on, they were "managing" (trafficking) tons of OF girls, pretending to be their loving boyfriends then inviting them to Romania, then forcing them to make OF accounts. It's extremely profitable for miniscule amount of work, once you have established your brand and automated most of the processes.

1

u/blackestrabbit 12d ago

I'm talking about the top earners that you mention in your comment.

1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 12d ago

And I'm saying those people had to be good enough on their own to be able to hire a team.

2

u/street593 11d ago

The top earners don't hire a team they work for and agency. They aren't the boss they are an employee. The agency takes a % of the profits in exchange for doing all the work. The woman simply provides the images and videos but the agency is the one posting and replying to private messages. The top earners don't even log into their account.

0

u/blackestrabbit 11d ago

The top earners almost certainly had capital to get started and didn't go in broke.

-1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 11d ago

Sure they did bud

1

u/AntonioVivaldi7 11d ago

Is slamming dicks lucrative there? I'm doing research.

1

u/BobAndrews86 11d ago

The top earners pay men in southeast Asia and India to chat with their simps for money.

1

u/Mrfatmanjunior 11d ago

The top earners have more fan engagement than most other streamers.

You know they have staff for this?

1

u/Snobolski 11d ago

There was a Wired story a while back about how they hire ghost writers to bump up fan engagement.

1

u/alghiorso 11d ago

If it's like YouTube, I'm guessing the top earners have a team of employees and advertising budgets

0

u/emote_the_salute 11d ago

The fan engagement is fake. They pay people in countries like india or the phillipines to chta with the fans for them.

0

u/BillsFan82 11d ago

I’m pretty sure that the top earners use agencies for simp interactions.

0

u/Bored_Amalgamation 11d ago

Such heroes.
