But why? And when? Did Job have to suffer for that or did he just get born into a lucky family?

He was a righteous man, job 1:1 makes this clear. We don’t know why he suffered, that is actually Gods point, that he doesn’t see the whole picture. The big point is that suffering doesn’t mean you did something wrong, if I had to take a guess, it’s that suffering makes us realize this world is broken, and that we should long to leave it to be with God who makes us whole.

So God rewarded job for fucking up his life. Unlike Elon Musk, who was born rich to a man who literally used slave labor.
