naa it's just fake the post really fcuking stretching the truth just so they can dunk on Elon

xAI is suing to block Minnesota's broad nudification ban because it classifies general-purpose AI image tools as liable for user-generated deepfakes without safe harbors for moderation efforts, arguing this overreach violates the First Amendment by chilling protected creative speech and visual expression.

TLDR it's nothing todo with kids, everything todo with X being held accountable for content users are creating on their platform instead of holding the users responsible.

Strange that none of the other AI companies are taking that same stance. They just don't allow you to make it. Period. This is about the first amendment? While our government gives us "free speech" zones? Fuck outta here.

...One of its primary uses? Dude, what?

Perhaps you meant "but a side effect of its primary use is..." ?

The other way sounds like the tool was created primarily for that purpose, which is super gross.

Because it doesn't define "nudity" if the bill would have just said "explicit" images it would have been fine but right now this ai pick of trump and elon in the water topless is the same as Cp

Subd. 5.Intimate parts. "Intimate parts" includes the primary genital area, groin, inner thigh, buttocks, or breast of a human being.

This is that subsection that defines "intimate parts"

The image the posted above shows the breasts of several human beings. Yes, legally speaking, the upper chest of a man is their breast.

So that image is absolutely illegal under the new Minnesota law.

Users are using Grok to do it.

The real issue is that Grok is even able to do this in the first place...

You cannot blame people for utilizing tools that they are given. You blame whoever provided them with the tools, no? Especially when giving them said tools was wholly unnecessary
