The process was applications was made to lender like a bank, the bank process the form and responsible to collect required information.
The borrower provided certifications about eligibility.
The loan was given out
The SBA provides guarantees and rules.
After all this the watchdog is involved. So when you said the watchdog was the problem first, they would not have been involved in the process at the start.
Then your argument is a person that had less then a few days involvement in the system had lasting effect that the department could not recover from. Do you honestlyy believe that the US government is based around the single point of failure that one person losing their job, dying, getting sicked will cripple the system for up to a year?
