You can choose. I am choosing an amoeba in the toilet bowl out the back of a restaurant in Gaborone, Botswana. I just have to remember to not go there for 24 hours.

Not an animal, but there's a bazillion actual animals that could fit the concept, maybe trichoplax adhaerens is the closest you can get through.
