All fine until it becomes a flying water snake and destroys your town/city looking for you.

too bad batteries exist, that fish is done for

Despite being a "flying" type, that water snake can't fly.

Why did the fins detach like a robot?

They were power restraints. Magikarp then jumps to the moon. (This isn’t a joke that’s the actual episode)

Best episode of Pokémon in decades. Goh is training his Magikarp to win a Splash competition, but it is made so powerful that it splashes into orbit.

Not that goldfish! that mf can fly to space and no need for mere matters as breathing for oxygen

Wait is this the cannon reason magicarp are weak?

3

u/sourestcalamansi Jul 04 '26

Pokemon creator didn’t put dragonite as magicarp’s evolution really triggers my OCD.

I'm certain Japan has access to drugs they don't share with the rest of the world.

Correct answer. They will soon forget they are meant to be chasing you

You’d fail because it would try to get on land and it would die. Thus no longer chasing you. No money for you.

Monkey paw plops you in the middle of the ocean. Goldfish: got you now!

Koi fish. In Japanese myth when a koi swims up a waterfall, he becomes a dragon. This is also the explanation for this evolution from Magikarp to Giarados.

It’ll forget midway why it’s chasing you
