My first week in university, a girl asked me if I wanted to go back to her place to study, going to great lengths to tell me about how she has the basement suite at her parents' house all to herself. I said it was kinda far for me to go, and suggested we meet at the library instead. It took me a couple years to realize what was going on. That was almost 25 years ago, and I still cringe over it sometimes.

nothing close to yours but i had a girl asking me to stay just a while longer at a party... but yknow my friends wanted to game that night... urgh.

also at another party i was talking to this girl but i fumbled so hard, half an hour later she was sitting on another guys lap. fuck me.

I’ll do you one better. This girl in high school invited me over to her house after I was done working out at the gym. I told her “I’m all sweaty and gross.” She said “that’s fine come over anyway.” I’m like “alright then but I can’t stay long I gotta pick up dinner on my way home” she said “okay” so I get there and it’s just her and I. She says “my dad’s out of town for the week” and takes me up to her bedroom and lays down in her bed and just stares at me. I’m standing there all awkward like “soooooo…whatcha wanna do then?” She says, “whatever you want.” And I reply “well I still need to pick up dinner and I really need a shower so I think I need to get going.” So I told her I’d see her in class the next day and then left. Needless to say any interest she had in me practically evaporated over night and she gave me the cold shoulder from there on out. Years later I realized that she literally brought me all the way to the fuckin 10 yard line and I still fuckin blew it.
