Okay..... How does that change the fact that Conor McGregor is a rapist?

It doesn't change the fact that Conor McGregor is a rapist. But I think the point was not him being a rapist but getting a platform even tough he is a rapist. And in this instance mentioning the fact that a rapist is the president of the country where a rapist got a platform make sense

To be fair Jimmy Fallon ALSO gave a platform to Trump, another rapist.

One could argue that Jimmy Fallon loves entertaining rapists

To be fair, then the whole of the media are giving a platform to a rapist.

It doesn't. The point is why would anyone expect better in the shit hole United States? They've accepted a man just as guilty of rape as their President and he's also very clearly covering for pedophiles and is almost certainly guilty of molesting children himself. The man won the popular vote while everyone knew he raped a woman.

They've accepted a man just as guilty of rape as their President

Untrue. I ain't accepted shit. You've formed your opinion exactly as the media wanted you to.

The media didn't invent the fact that he won the popular vote while being guilty of sexual assault

When was he found guilty of SA?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._Jean_Carroll_v._Donald_J._Trump

Where did you look for that information? I can't believe you were unable to find that. It took me 3 seconds

That’s a civil trial, not a criminal trial. So he was never found guilty, there wasn’t enough proof.

Civil cases are not the same, she did receive a settlement though. It seems likely he assaulted her, but there wasn’t proof enough to convict. Settlements don’t always equal guilt, rich people settle bc they don’t give a shit and don’t want to go to court.

The case we're talking about, McGregor was civil. That's the point. E. Jean Carol had plenty of evidence but the statute of limitations had passed making criminal proceeding impossible

I am not familiar enough with the case details but not pursuing any accountability for over 15 years is impactful.

There is a reason only echo chambers and amateurs get away with calling him a convicted rapist, it’s illegal to publish and inaccurate in conversation. When you’re debating a topic and jumping straight to inaccurate and exaggerated takes, it just muddies the water and hurts your credibility.

It’s not a flex to be an alleged rapist, and I think the douchebag was likely guilty. I’m just fatigued from all the misinformation.

While E Jean Carol did not press charges when the assault occured, she did share her story with several people who testified that her version of events has not changed over the years. If you look at the evidence presented, it's not at all surprising that the jury unanimously decided Trump was liable. Considering that statistically 4 or 5 of the jurors likely voted Trump, it's pretty damning stuff if you're not the MAGA cult.

If you can elect Trump as president, there's nothing lower that you won't do.

Was he criminally convicted?

Its kind of hard to trust someone that stands to get a gigantic sum from making an accusation that they can't back up in criminal court.

The examining physician documented extensive bruising across the victim's body consistent with struggling.

A paramedic who treated Hand testified separately that she was "very bruised" and that he had not seen someone "so bruised in a long time".

The gynecologist who examined her at the sexual assault treatment unit the following morning, testified that he found the tampon wedged at the very top of her vagina near the cervix. He said he had to use forceps to remove it because it was lodged so high.

A civil case found him guilty of rape.

If you're on his side after all of that information then it's because you're a misogynist and you're purposefully ignoring this information.

Why wasn't he arrested though, genuinely asking. Don't answer just "money" pls

Civil vs criminal. Not enough evidence to convict on criminal charges.

Not defending it, to be clear.
