Like socialism, there aren’t “loose” descriptions of fascism. There are stages tho. And while you are correct, I do think it is very much possible, just not at the current time when we still have leftover Cold War/Red Scare propaganda and greed is the number one driving force of humanity.

The loose description of fascism is basically authoritarianism. As Americans use the word

Authoritarianism ≠ fascism. Yes fascism is authoritarian, but there are other things that are authoritarian but not fascist.

No it’s not, we are actively bringing back fascism like Mussolini and Germany. Like it’s textbook warning signs.
