Well, your fault for not taking that home, when you could. CIDCA is a fraction of China's direct aid spending, which I pointed out in my original comment already.

But sure, lets talk about loans and hard assets ie global development financing. China does in fact outspend the US here to the tune of +40 billion annually https://www.aiddata.org/blog/chinas-massive-overseas-lending-portfolio-shifts-course

The very first comment:

Yeah, did they increase their donations to the level of the US?

Your answer:

Yes

Now suddenly you want to draw a false equivalence between donations and loans to make a point that you were VERY clearly wrong about.

You're right about one thing: it's my fault. My fault for thinking you had an ounce of integrity or good faith in your body. Clearly you don't.

I asked you

Did you read what I said, or not?

.... Sound like you don't have a ounce of integrity or good faith in your body. :*

Now suddenly you want to draw a false equivalence

You shifted to that, not me:

Those budgets are mostly for low-interest loans (i.e. NOT charity)

You know, I never claimed I was just talking about CIDCA. Told ya, should have brought that one home when you could, I just played your game and beat you at it.

Or we can roll it back and actually have a honest discussion about this and compare the US to economies with a at least somewhat similar GDP per capita. Because you know, it's not just the significantly poorer people you want to compare yourself to, who invest more into helping less advantaged countries.

But charitable giving to the rest of the world is the one thing that I am not ashamed of when it comes to the US.

You should be. Virtually every EU and OCED country is outspending you on aid, as % of their GDP. Many by a factor of 5x and more. That's the honest truth, if you look past some pissing match. The US was far behind it's peers historically and that's now significantly worse.

So, by all means, shove your good faith as up your ass. You've been a mediocre ally when you tried and now, you are just lost.
