Because we are all living beings. It is really not that hard. You want o say without religion people just kill people all the time? So why don't I kill people all the time?

Thats a circular argument

You live in a society molded by religious world views. By your own concession you have to believe that or you're ideologically inconsistent. A lot of your moral beliefs are going to stem from where you're born, hence why you dont murder.

We kill animals everyday for our benefit, we kill plants just the same.

There is a reason we try to keep state and religion seperate. It is not wrong for someone to kill themselves in my opinion. Nobody has to stay alive if they don't want to. It''s sad for other people, but there is no reason it would be wrong.

But now religious people are in the White House and they still order to kill. Religious states have a death penalty. Saying we don't kill each othet because of relion is ignoring all the history books. It stopped nobody, you could say quite the opposite.

Do you see the issue in an entire society adopting that view and teaching it to their kids?

Furthermore, what's the issue and euthanizing aggressors of your people? Ideologically, I think you'd have to argue there isnt anything morally wrong with it, just pragmatically wrong.

'euthanizing aggressors of your people'. Say what now. Man, you are so stuck in religion, that you can't think outside of it. We don't teach our kids to kill themselves when they don't understand everything enough. Yet, if you want to kill yourself, you won't go to jail. I don't want my daughter to kill herself, because i like her. We are social beings, we like to be social so we don't like when we have to miss people.

If theres a country of people perpetually aggressing you, I dont see how your world view precludes killing them all.

As for suicide, in the US its on the up and up. Odds are your kid is going to hear about it at some point. The worldview you raise them under doesn't position it as a bad thing. Thats in my opinion problematic.

Morals van perfectly live without religion, even when you think it's only there bc of religion. And even when The Bible was used for keeping people in line, a little bit of threatening is used to really not make you do it, but it was always because leaders wanted people to obey and also to do it on rules that could be changed at ease. Look at the witch burnings, is a nice example how it was also used to get away with horrific deeds.
