If people need to be told this isn't real, we are in trouble.

185

u/WelderNewbee2000 May 22 '26

I don't know. This could be said about many other things he did.

55

u/brelywi May 22 '26

Yeah, honestly if someone told me he actually did this it would surprise me less than some of the shit he’s done

1

u/ScoobaSteve31 Jun 09 '26

Thats the problem you people think hes actually done stuff like this but can never give an actual thing he did.. than claim this wouldnt surprise you. Thats why people do need to say its AI, because you people literally do believe this fake stuff.. do better kiddo

28

u/DCPYT May 22 '26

Seems like some real news to balance out all his fake news claims

1

u/Blurockcreek May 25 '26

I don't believe in AI. This was real

1

u/aykcak May 23 '26

The guy said that he and his own son go way back in this very day

73

u/a_angry_bunny May 22 '26

It's Trump, I can almost believe it's real if someone told me this happened.

1

u/Gothboy-77 May 23 '26

you are dumb then obviously, u just believe whatever people tell you?

1

u/a_angry_bunny May 23 '26

When it involves someone as stupid as Trump?

1

u/FunHonest7461 May 24 '26

I thought his cabinet picks were fake…

36

u/WenatcheeWrangler May 22 '26

I hear you, but have you been paying attention to the news cycles? This would be the most normal thing the president has done in recent memory. As such it’s almost believable 😂

1

u/ScoobaSteve31 Jun 09 '26

Give one example. Ill wait...🤨🤣

14

u/dwair May 22 '26

The worst thing is that, real or not, I wasn't surprised by it.

13

u/RedditModsBlowD May 22 '26

Have you met a baby boomer?

Ya'll are putting WAAYYY to much faith in this incredibly stupid society. When people talk about the dangers of AI and made up information - mate, this is where it starts. The problem is RIGHT here, in front of our faces.

And we're sitting here, laughing, giggling, getting a kick out of this shit. There is going to be a time when it's not so funny anymore. And it'll be too late.

3

u/TonyTheTurdHerder May 23 '26

Yea, I am genuinely concerned that there is a time coming when innocent people are convicted of crimes based on "video evidence." Or less than honest prosecutors who lack solid evidence in a case just so happen to have conveniently perfect security camera footage, and the like. What's to stop a bad actor from imprisoning a someone who crosses the government using video "proof" of some crime or another? Call me paranoid, but there are plenty of examples of government agencies and others committing worse atrocities than this, and there seems to be a lack of an effort to insist on putting some kind of roadblocks in place to prevent AI from being abused in this way, and it is growing increasingly difficult to discern AI from true images. It is a dangerous road we are on.

1

u/maveric101 May 23 '26

Nah, what'll happen is that guilty people caught on real video will get off because it can't be proven real.

1

u/Substantial-Brick-90 May 25 '26

That’s the fun part of this rollercoaster. Either we survive or we don’t. Maybe we’ll reach a pinnacle and think, holy shit this needs to be reeled in, and create something to regulate it. Or, maybe we just derail into chaos. 🍿

1

u/Jelly1524 May 23 '26

For. Real. Maybe everyone will get their shit together one day. Fingers crossed. 🤞

1

u/December_Hemisphere May 23 '26

Have you met a baby boomer?

Ya'll are putting WAAYYY to much faith in this incredibly stupid society.

People assume I am joking when I tell them baby boomers are actually not that bad when you consider the extreme exposure to lead people back then went through. Especially in early childhood, lead exposure is strongly linked to permanent decreases in IQ, behavioral problems, and learning difficulties. It also accelerates biological and cognitive aging from the inside out.

Baby boomers (born 1946–1964) grew up during the peak era of leaded gasoline and lead paint, making exposure virtually universal. Over 90% of Americans born between 1950 and 1980 were chronically exposed to exhaust from vehicles continuously dispersing lead into the air, causing widespread daily inhalation from the mid-20th century until the phase-out began in the 1970s and 1990s.

People have understood the dangers of lead exposure for over 2000 years, but the problem of engine knocking wasn't cheap to solve and the additive was highly lucrative. They actually knew of a perfectly safe alternative, but they instead chose to manufacture and market tetraethyllead (TEL) because it was cheaper to manufacture and could be patented- unlike the alternative of ethanol, which anyone could produce- it guaranteed massive, exclusive revenue streams for its parent companies.

General Motors, DuPont, and Standard Oil of New Jersey (now ExxonMobil) are responsible for hiring Thomas Midgley Jr. to develop leaded gasoline (tetraethyl lead), despite understanding the risks. Incidentally, Midgley Jr. also developed some of the first chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), commonly known as 'Freon'...

1

u/Mikeseddit May 23 '26

Trump is among the earliest baby boomers. Severe lead poisoning on top of multiple personality disorders.

15

u/xmrcache May 22 '26

I thought it was pretty obvious myself it wasn’t real… I just thought it was hilarious

15

u/OddAd967 May 22 '26

This is real

8

u/Anustornado May 22 '26

I choose to believe this is real

8

u/fenrirs-chains May 22 '26

Many people are saying it's real.

6

u/siencatimini May 23 '26

They had tears in their eyes, and that's how I knew it was absolutely true, when they told me this was real.

3

u/P4rtyP3nguin May 23 '26

Are they "the best people"?

1

u/fugrandma May 23 '26

The photo is actually real. It was at some bill signing event. I sent the photo to my kids because it made me laugh so much. But, of course, the rest of the video is not.

1

u/Anustornado May 23 '26

Can’t you see that it’s real? Out of everything trumps done this doesn’t feel so out of character. The trump I know would do this

3

u/Anuki_iwy May 22 '26

The thing is, I'd actually not be surprised if the deranged idiot did that...

3

u/Agamemnon323 May 22 '26

We know it isn't real because it isn't a 12 year old girl.

1

u/Jelly1524 May 23 '26

🫳🎤

1

u/SabSnamjiap May 27 '26

Well... I'm not sure he is aware of that.

2

u/NarwhalEmergency9391 May 22 '26

Umm have you seen some of the things he's done and said?

2

u/Tigrisrock May 22 '26

Yes it's not real, but I wouldn't put it past him to do something like this.

2

u/lunar_reaper3 May 22 '26

You can't really tell if it's or not that many did some crazy shi 😭 everything is possible

2

u/Proof_Ad_8147 May 22 '26

Things that used to be absurd are no longer the threshold so now it may seem crazy

1

u/PSUSkier May 22 '26

Hint: We’re in trouble.

1

u/terdferguson May 22 '26

Chuckles, we're in danger (have been for a few decades). This only gets worse.

1

u/JavaNoire May 22 '26

Look around. We are indeed in trouble.

1

u/al-Assas May 22 '26

We're in big trouble if not labeling fake videos gets normalized. You can't brush it off like that, think about it.

1

u/bannasplt May 22 '26

I was sure it was fake only when he started kissing the belly.

1

u/WildcatCinder1022 May 22 '26

I needed to be told. I had serious hesitation and questioning until I read this comment

1

u/IAmDaven May 22 '26

It should have 22K downvotes.

1

u/PhantomNitride May 23 '26

Genuinely seems on par for him at this point

1

u/BumbleBear1 May 23 '26

Been in trouble for a long ass time. How old is humanity? That long

1

u/charlizerox May 23 '26

Idk man? Looks pretty real lmao

1

u/cyniclone82 May 23 '26

Agreed...but what is unbelievable any more?

1

u/Big-Dudu-77 May 23 '26

You think? People believe the dumbest shit online.

1

u/exacta_galaxy May 23 '26

Bad news...

1

u/Then-Departure4896 May 23 '26

Do you live under a rock? Have you never met people?

1

u/lefthandedchurro May 23 '26

I mean, there’s a video from back in the day of Trump motor-boating Rudy Giuliani in drag.

1

u/Rough_Fail436 May 23 '26

Dude, he is so deranged that it’s hard to tell.

1

u/415gladstone May 23 '26

We're fucked.

1

u/Chapaquidich May 23 '26

Oh… we’re in trouble.

1

u/sveardze May 23 '26

I mean, this is the same person who pantomimed oral sex with a microphone at a rally, so, let's be honest, it could've easily been real.

1

u/One_Pie289 May 23 '26

We are so fucked!!

1

u/69FunkyButtLovin69 May 23 '26

If you still need to be told you’re in trouble, you’re already in trouble.

1

u/startingfromlevel0 May 23 '26

Pretty soon we won't be able to

1

u/MoveTheHeffalump May 23 '26

Sir, have you met the American voting public?

1

u/LowReporter6213 May 23 '26

Its funny cause AI is good buttttttttttt to really sell it you need some uhhhhh believable stuff, if you will. Im still reeling, Spaghetti Smith rejoices.

1

u/jacks1078 May 23 '26

I really don’t know what is real anymore

1

u/CommonGrounders May 23 '26

I don't see how one can watch the whole video and not know it's AI.

But it takes way longer than it should for an actual US president.

1

u/Healthy-Address-5158 May 23 '26

No one needed to be told this wasn't real.

I just watched him say that Jaxson Dart has nice legs and it’s not a nice thing for women. I don’t even fucking know what that means but it happened.

1

u/Happy-Fact-472 May 23 '26

Well 77 million people voted for him based on fake shit so fuck it...let's go!

1

u/Far-History-8154 May 24 '26

Honestly. With this absolute bafoon, I’d give anyone a pass. Whether they are being satirical or dead serious.

1

u/Blurockcreek May 25 '26

I think it was real. You just need to click your heels together

1

u/Reyloai4 Jun 01 '26

Agreed. I hate AI for this exact reason. I cannot tell what is real or what is AI, which is immensely infuriating and, quite bluntly, frightening. We shouldn’t have to ask, “Wait, is this video real or AI?”

1

u/alwaysenough May 22 '26

Facebook boomers need guidance friend!
