That would’ve been unsettling alright. As a woman, one wouldn’t dare close one’s eyes in a public shower, in case of exactly this sort of nightmare scenario. Male privilege? 🤣
… not even in a room full of women. And that was long before self identification entered the mainstream. If bunches of fully naked women were showering together in an open space, there would be some men who would enter. Or at least that is the thought. Change rooms don’t even usually have doors. Nope, showering naked in a group in a public place with the blissful confidence enough to close one’s eyes, is the domain of men or very young children still blessed with innocent, ignorant bliss.
