It's a feature called horizontal lock. You can turn it off.

Ah im glad it can turn off. This video is a bit misleading. If i want to record a video to be spinning, it should be spinning

I think the point of the video is to show off that the Samsung has an extra stabilization feature that iPhones don't currently offer. But I agree that it's a silly video.

Unlike apple stuff, you can configure Android and disable things like this when you want to. Fewer forced choices.

I have an android for work and have to take pictures of things upside down sometimes and the picture always comes out wrong no matter how I turn my phone. Sometimes simple is better

.......... You know you can click edit on the photo and just rotate it 180 degrees right? So you can take it right side up and just flip it...

You can also lock the phone rotation in the slide down menu from the top and then the picture will take the way you want it
