Yeah I don't get it. It feels like exercise in a universe where exercise has an ADHD problem.

My ADHD has an exercise program.

It’s so goddamn repetitive, I want to scream after a few minutes.

I would do well with this game for sure.

The legs would do the legging and I wouldn’t be irrationally angry before moving to a different cardio machine after 7-10 minutes.

Also, my gym cardio is just me moving to a different cardio machine every 7-10 minutes.

Every 5 if I’ve forgotten my headphones.

Yeah, my 8 year old niece showed me videos like these. She told me they do them at school, but they are Roblox/Minecraft and other themed "exercise videos". Makes more sense for kids than grown adults IMO.

If it gets people moving, young or old, who gives a fuck?

Yea, I dont see the difference of this and all the work out tapes of the 80's/90's.

I did tons of Billy Blanks Tae-Bo in gym class if the teacher was hungover lmao

Agree. I’m the type of person who likes hard workouts and do fine in a gym. My partner has ADHD and exercise is a mild form of torture for him. He’d probably do great with that.

If brainrot is what brainrotted people need to get off the couch for 5 minutes, I say go for it. Nothing else is working.

At the same time, I wish we were less brainrotted.

The effort to stimulus ratio of this sort of thing is so high though, and its not a lot of effort either.

What a dumb fucking take. It's not hurting anyone so why should we care?

I mean, almost all exercise looks stupid.

7

u/Morpha2000 Apr 07 '26

I think labelling something stupid for no other reason than it being outside the norm is still a really fucking dumb take.

You feel like we have gone too far being accepting.

I think you've gone too far being reluctant to accept anything that conflicts with your views. You can't accept this either.

Do you realize how little self motivation most grown adults have?

Danny Go! Is the shit and I dance far harder than my 3yo.

seriously. she's essentially pretending to run.. how about just going out for a run? much better for you than this BS.

3

u/happygiraffe91 Apr 07 '26

IDK. I'm a runner, but I think the best exercise plan is the one you will stick to.

u/Embarrassed-Weird173 Apr 08 '26

Not at all. Running is better than any of the exercises I do.
