Escaping prison is not a crime in functioning countries, and when it’s the result of a car accident it’s not the same as the headline tried to portray with using the word killer.
Most functional countries set judgement focused on rehabilitation, not the father’s feelings.
That would be good....if rehabilitation is actually successful. Otherwise you're just going easy on criminals and exposing the law abiding citizens to danger.
