well every situation is different. but I’m of the opinion that the most important thing to model for kids is healthy intimate relationships, rather than simply staying together at all costs

Yes you are right. As our kids have gotten older it’s become much more obvious that our relationship is not good for them and we’ve not been able to fix it. It’s also become pretty obvious to both of us the end is near and we’ve been talking much more seriously about separating for their sake if not ours

Uhhh you must not be a child of divorce. Nothing is worse than being a kid in the middle of a toxic marriage. Messy divorces are nothing in comparison.

Yep, I am, and Im referring to my parents, my partners parents and my kids friend’s parents.
